if i could make an apology to just one person in this world, and just one person alone, i'd say sorry to myself. but then i'd tell myself that sorry came too late and that i can't make amends even if i tried, even if i donated a million dollars to charity, even if i crossed all the oceans or walked the entire earth barefoot, even if i killed myself.
