[The feed is blank, but you can hear random concerned, commands of someone battling, (in the more 'inexperienced, I was not expecting this!!' sort of way)after meeting something from a random wild pokemon encounter. A short while later, the pokegear slips from the pocket in the pack and the screen actually shows images again ( Read more... )

[Grinning so wide.]

You're really good with that young one. Do you have any children of your own?

[Yuui tilts his head slightly in surprise, but smiles brightly as he sees France.]

Ah, hello France-san!

[The blond shakes his head a little in response,]

I don't actually, but I've always been good with them I suppose.

[And really silly/childish people in general, Yuui. You're like, surrounded by them 8|...]

[France beams.]

That's a truly admirable quality. Any children that you have in the future will be truly lucky to have a father like you.

[France is actually pretty jealous, but he's not bitter about the jealousy. Seeing these sorts of qualities makes him happy.]

[Yuui ducks his head slightly, looking a little embarrassed and unsure how to take the compliment, but smiles a moment later with appreciation.]

Thank you France-san, that's very kind of you to say!

Especially when Sachi is proving to be such a handful already, are any of your pokemon this, uh, brave?

[He chooses brave instead of brash, simply because he could see how happy Sachi was after the battle.]

Um...

[France glances off-screen at his pokemon famous, in a nutshell, for their rather unique personalities. He turns back with a slightly overly bright smile on his face.]

They're most excellent and well-behaved the majority of the time!

[Yuui waits, tilting his head curiously. Luckily for France, Yuui doesn't really know much of anything about France's pokemon thus far. Which means he'll believe just about anything you tell him 8D...]

Ah~! I would expect no less, I'm sure you've done a wonderful job with them.

[The sparkles in that icon make it even more convincing... Some how.]

[France tosses his hair and smiles winningly. What is humility]

Thank you very much! They are the very best, but, of course, I am rather biased.

[Yuui chuckles a little, but smiles good-naturedly.]

I suppose we all might be in relation to our pokemon, but yours really do seem quite lovely,

[...Well it wasn't quite honest concerning the ditto, he still found himself having trouble deciding what to make of that one, and thus, a split second later he adds,]

and interesting!

[France is going to take that statement at face value. He visibly preens.]

They are certainly magnificent. My pride and joy on any day, and so good with children.

[Only because France likes children. His pokemon could care less.]

[Yuui can see just how much pride France takes in his pokemon, and decides it's a good thing. They were such interesting, sweet creatures after all.]

I'm somewhat of the mind that many must be used to the idea of being around children, I haven't really seen them out right hate any of the young people I've seen with one.

[The wild ones were another matter, and unpleasant, surprising matter. After being in cherrygrove as long as he had been he had come to noticing that there were rather young trainers about as well.]

[Of course it's a good thing! Except France is pretty blind to all of his pokemon's faults.]

I think that the pokemon tend to become more friendly towards their trainers over time. David was a bit quieter in the beginning; he's the only one that I've caught in the wild.

[Considering France tried to eat Pidgey and Rattata...]

[As an overly tolerant person, Yuui probably wouldn't notice half of them either.]

Oh? I have yet to actually uh, try to catch any. But perhaps someday, I think it might help Sachi to have a friend to play with.

[He commented thoughtfully, actually catching something had continually escaped his memory thus far, but he often thought it might help the childish creature to have something to talk to aside from passing trainers.

It was also probably better that Yuui doesn't know abotu France trying to eat a Pidgey or Rattata... It's not a pleasant picture.]

[Hooray for good people with psychopathic pokemon. ;3]

There's also the option of purchasing eggs or trading pokemon with other people. I've done some breeding, and it's very rewarding to raise a pokemon from the egg. People tend to post if they're looking to trade or pass on eggs or pokemon they no longer have room for in their parties.

[A really big hoooraaaaay~ \o/]

Oh? I think I had read something along those lines in the handbook, that actually does sound rather rewarding to have them since they hatched.

[Yuui commented with a brighter smile, musing over the idea. It did seem a little more suited to his tastes than fighting, not that he didn't think Sachi could handle it now. But there were quite a few choices to consider.]

There really are so many possibilities here, I'll have to keep them in mind!

I hope that you find the best possibility for you. It makes being here a lot easier to handle to have a purpose before you.

Ah, thank you France-san! I'm sure I'll figure it out eventually. So far I've been of the mind that it's like a really strange vacation, and to try my best to enjoy it. Though I'll be glad when I can find some more normal stability around here...

[He commented with a little laugh, though glad for France's well wishes. People really were very kind around here it seemed.]
