(no subject)
So I've lasted awhile not smoking. Although I ain't been counting, last time I did it became another down fall. No point. Just go with the flow.
Anyways..I'm realising and seeing other peoples dependancies to smoking; Yes, of all manners. So many arguements occured today. None of which are directed at me.
Chris has let people come to his house as a social gathering for nearly 4 years now. Maybe 5. I wouldn't know; I've been up and down Glasgow like a yo-yo. Anywho; Today was just terrible. Chris was kind enough to pour me a drink of cider (I don't care what people say; It's so tasty =3) and left it on the table in the lobby. Unfortunatley; Dave and Mark decided to kick a football about which resulted in my drink being smashed and spilt everywhere; an ashtray fell onto the floor too.
Sounds small and petty. Try being the house owner of this everyday for 4-5 years. Not nice at all. Oh, and to make it worse; They left to go in the dining room to play the PC, leaving Chris to pick up the shit they knocked over (To clarify; I was in the bathroom and got out just as they were heading to the dining room after the mess).
This seemed to of pushed Chris over the edge. He was speaking to me aggressively (Being the only person in the room; Acceptable) over the whole thing and how he was going to demand everyone to leave.
Oh yeah; To make it worse they smoked a mass of cannibis in his Dining room that he very very recently re-wallpapered. That pissed me off too as it took him his whole holiday to paper it all down (Incase people don't know; Smoking = stains = wallpaper = bad).
Anywho, more folks arrived (Andy and Gaz). Me and Andy went to the Living Room to play the Wii for awhile to leave the Lobby which was having heated conversations. Then as we were about to play the game a crashing sound occured, Chris was shouting at everyone to leave. So we left (He threw a glass to the floor in anger; I think Dave and Mark started causing trouble again).
Gaz had just got there and went off hoping Dave would give him a lift. Not a chance; In an act of spite Dave drove off as Gaz headed for the car to ask him. Oh, that resulted in Gaz's girlfriend Gemma to argue with him over the fact he was heading back. Ruining her plans (Quick summary on Gemma; She loves to argue over anything. I get many headaches and her crying at me about this shit weekly).
I put this all down to the dependancies everyone has.
Dave is just nasty and abuses the house 24/7. He's a stone head to the core and a nasty piece of work. Very self centered. I've known him since I was around 9. Along time. He's never changed.
Mark is the most moodiest kid in the world until he smokes something. Then he tries to be everyones best friend/annoying little git. He's just as bad as Dave in many ways. He also broke Chris's Amplifier today. He didn't evern need to open the thing up; But wanted to because "He could".
Chris has been dependant on alcohol and weed for over 30+ years. No need to go into that; It's been his life and at this point; What really can an inexperienced 21 year old say to a 52 year old?
Funny thing is. I look at all these aspects now and constantly say "Not long ago; That was me". Oh how things change.
Anywho, on the bright side. My job starts the second they recieve me second Job reference; Which should be on the way in a few days.
Excited much? Damn fucking right. =D
Getting my new football gear soon~ Another tactic to put me off smoking and get me in shape. Might talk to my uncle John about joining a Sunday league team. Could be fun.
