New Years and New Chances...

First off, Houlihans has now become the longest job i've ever stayed at since i think i'm at about four months. I really like the job and hope that i can stay at it, because the managers are great, the other servers are friendly, and i can make a ton of money on the weekends. The only thing is that we could use a little more business, cause right now we're basicly going by word of mouth and we could use a more wide spread method of putting our name out there.

Christine and our eighth month aniversary was pretty cool. We went to Applebees which was the first time i actually ate the food. Weird since i worked in an Applebees for three months. It was fun and the food was pretty good. I think it could have been better, but it definatly wasn't bad.

New Years was pretty good. I was unfortunatly scheduled to work as a food runner at work and so i was supposed to be there until 9 o'clock. I called earlier because i didn't think it would be busy, but they said i still had to come in. I ended up only running food for half an hour and my manager said that if i stayed on the clock and just rolled silverware then he would buy me dinner. I can imagine that for most managers that would mean getting a sandwich, but he let me get the prime sirloin (which is awesome cause i have been craving steak for a while now), so i got it to go and christine came to pick me up so we could head to our party. Well on the way there we had to stop at my parents to pick up a blender and some other party supplies. That one act turned into about an hour long of running around everywhere to get supplies for the party. Needless to say, both me and christine were kind of frustrated when we got there. Worst of all is that i had to reheat my steak which made it a bit tough. The party did go off well although we got scared for a bit because everyone kept calling to cancel, but the party was still pretty cool. I made margaritas for the first time and i think they came out good, and i had mimmosa (spelling may be off) too which was excellent. It could have been better and we definatly should have planned more in advance, but it didn't turn out too bad. This is also the first time i got a kiss at midnight, which i didn't even know you were supposed to do until like two years ago.

A new semester is going to start this year and with it, i will be starting on my third major since entering college. I am now going into international business and may be taking a minor in japanese. Hopfully i will be able to stay with this major cause i am getting sick of switching so much. My fun class for this coming semester is going to be Karate which i am taking with Kurt. I'm looking forward to it cause i need something that will help me to get back in shape and it seems like a lot of fun. Most of my other classes are going to be toward my major. Speaking of that, i should probably go in and offically change my major with the college.

I've kind of given up on new years resolutions since i never used to keep them, but this year i'll try and make an exception. So my three new years resolutions are:
1) Get in shape and stay that way.
2) Go to my classes and get better grades.
3) Work enough to afford a car (no more of this bumming rides stuff).
