I Got My Own Little Secret

So here's another story, and it's about the Pleasant twins.

For lunaselene503 who asked me to write more about the premades.

Another day; another ordinary day for the Pleasant twins
.
Every day Angela Pleasant wakes up according to her alarm clock. She takes a bath and dress perfectly like any young lady would. She eats her breakfast and always makes coffee for her father. She’s a perfect straight A student, with a squeaky clean record. She never fights and is the school sweetheart. A redhead with big green eyes and a charming smile and a personality to match, she’s adored by all boys in school.

No one dares to mess with her; she’s the daughter of Senator Mary Sue Pleasant and famous athlete, Daniel Pleasant. With a well known family reputation, she’s almost perfect.

But her twin sister, Lilith Pleasant was a thorn in the family. She was nothing but a troublemaker, constantly coming to school late and often picks fight. If it’s not for her caring sister, she would be expelled from the school with no second thoughts.

She looked exactly the same like her twin, minus the innocence showing so strong on her sister. Instead of tying her hair back into a ponytail, she let it down. Instead of her sister’s solid polo shirt with argyle sweater and denim skirt, she wore dark tees and jeans with studded belts. She wore Chuck Taylors instead of Mary Janes. She’s a complete opposite of her sister.

But what confuses people is why they are so close. Sure they had a lot of bickering in the past, but since their long night talk on their 15th birthday, they became closer.

Many people couldn’t help but feel a bit jealous. If some girls are jealous to Angela, Lilith will get them in a heartbeat. And if someone tries to threaten Lilith, Angela threatens them back. And none of them ever forget to repay the deed.
The way they understand each other make it hard to believe that they used to fight. And sometimes they just don’t get it how two polar opposites can actually be friends.

And now on their 17th birthday, they have completely understood the bond between them. It’s not just because their related by blood, or the fact that they’re twins; they simply know that one couldn’t live without the other.

Angela smiled knowingly to her sister as she prepared to blow the candles. Lilith’s lips curved into a smile which looked more like a smirk. Laughing at their little secret. And the twins blew the candles, hoping for another moment to spend with each other.
