remodeling! woot!
I am redoing our living room. new (to us) carpet that my cousin got from a construction site, its the like, expensive stuff. its pretty, a really light olive green color. perfect size practically for our living room, my dads gonna install it. before that tho, im gonna paint the walls and ceiling, fill all the holes before i paint. omg there are so many holes in these walls! its retarded... so that'll look nice. the wall behind our entertainment center had wall paper on it, so i went to take it off....OMG turned into the biggest mess. the paint underneath was peeling off, it would have been such a pain to get it all off, so we bought new paneling to go over it, gonna just cover it up :D
anyways, that wall im gonna paint lavender (haha i have a gallon of lavender paint that someone threw away....woot freeness!) and the rest is going to be just plain white. since our kitchen is green, and the wall is gonna be purple-ish, i figured plain white walls would be ok. so im excited. tomorrow we're cutting out the paneling and painting it then putting it up. and prepping the walls to paint. woo. then i have next sunday-wed off (boo for 4 days in a row off and losing hours, but yay for time to do my room!)
anyways, i am officially broke. my hours are waaaay shorted on the next schedule. like 15 hrs less over 2 weeks. bleh. ohwell.....we'll survive.
and i am crazy sore from moving the damn piece of carpet yesterday....carpet is way heavier than it should be.....yuk. i hurt.
anyways, thats about all of interest. oh, my kitty has this weird spot on his face with no fur....like on his jaw. but it doesnt seem to hurt him, or itch, but it looks kinda red like dried blood....i dunno what the hell he did. i just hope it heals and goes away. bleh...poor kitty i keep grabbing him and looking at it haha
aaaaaaand i think thats it...off to bed soon since im sure my dad will show up bright and early and wanna start on the room....
