This is a really slow, kind of lazy (but not in a bad way) sounding song from the Darkness sessions. It's mostly just cute on the surface, but it's a little bit dirty and sweet when you read the lyrics. The first two lines in the quoted lyrics sort of pop up in All That Heaven Will Allow, a full ten years later, which is pretty cool. Thematically, they're kind of similar songs, although the guy in Taxi Cab seems more devilish or rakish than the person in ATHWA.
