I am bored, almost all of the time. I am bored because I do nothing and I do nothing because I am to bored to do anything. I'm stuck. My personal velocity has been slowing down more and more. I'm tired when I'm awake and I can't sleep well. I feel like there is some sort of breakthrough that I should have, that I should strive for but at the ( Read more... )

well I was gonna write ramble a buncha times...
I dunno. I wish I had aim so we could stay up late talking. you've put me in a severely melancholy mood now Rhonda. but a note on speed, it really is true. this society is perpetually over-stimulated. if one would just take a moment to shut off the world from their head without the use of drugs then maybe they would regain a hint of their sanity.
anyway, rest well, think well. with love

yeah, like, there's this dude who was talking to us about how he went to Antarctica for a year and how quiet and how every community had about 100 people in it so they all had to become best friends, and they had no means of excitement except for the monthly shipping of food from Chile. Then when he came back to the U.S, everyone was so hyped about everything and technology and doing stuff 24/7 and he was totally freaked out.
You should move to antarctica.
And I saw your artwork today. I was really jealous of your skill, i've never had artistic talent like that. Just keep doing that. The things you make are amazing.

oohh wow talking about my life long dream, right there.
Did I ever tell you about Mr. Strobel when we were reading "Shackleton and the expedition to antartica?"
Strobel Reading a section:
"On the expedition, Shackleton and his crew ate many delicacies including chocolate-mmm chocolate, and penguin roast-mmm, penguin roast!"
It was hilarious!
