Help creating recipe for a cake for my best friend
Hello there! I was just wondering if anybody could point me in the direction of some of their favorite chocolate cake recipes. My best friend just told me she's going to take the next semester off from college which means I probably won't get to see her for at least another another four months once she leaves on Thursday.
Just a few somewhat important notes about my best friend (it'd be great if the recipes you suggest include one or more of these notes):
- She's lactose intolerant. It's not terrible and she's stubborn enough to eat ice cream if she really wants to even though she knows she could be in pain tomorrow. She does have lactase pills but at the same time I'd rather just avoid a big concentration of dairy in the first place if possible.
- She loves coffee
- and peanut butter
- and Nutella
If you guys could help me out and suggest recipes that included one or more of the notes above that'd be fantastic. I was actually thinking of something along the lines of a chocolate cake that had a hint of coffee in it with a peanut butter/Nutella filling of some sort in the middle. I just didn't know how to specifically make the cake I had in mind and I don't really have much time to do multiple test recipes before Thursday.
