Chocolate - Ricotta - Brownies

Ingredients
  • 180g butter
  • 3 tbsp. cocoa powder
  • 200g sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 125g flour
  • 250g Ricotta cheese
  • 3 tbsp. sugar
  • 1 egg
Method
  • Preheat the oven (180C/350F). Grease a 18x28cm pan and put baking paper in it.
  • Melt the butter, then add the cocoa powder and the sugar.
  • Add the eggs and flour and stir until it's smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the pan.
  • Beat Ricotta cheese, egg and sugar. Then drop it on in large spoonfuls.
  • With the handle of a wooden spoon, swirl the topping into the brownies to produce a slightly marbled appearance.
  • Bake the cake 35 - 40 minutes.






This is our favorite brownie. All family and friends love it and ask regularly when I will make it again. But we never tell beforehand that there is cheese on top, otherwise they wouldn't want to taste it. It's not a cheesecakeland here.
