Hi all!
I've been asked to contribute some baked goods to a colleague's wedding shower in our office next week! Some detective work (asking the bride-to-be) revealed that my colleague is not especially fond of sweet things, dashing all of my previous plans. I am still planning to bring one or two things that are a little on the sweet side (rosemary lemon palmiers, mascarpone-filled strawberries), but since I had fixated on the idea of bringing a cheesecake, I am now obsessed with the idea of a savory cheesecake.
The flavors are only somewhat relevant (especially if the recipe is one that I can tweak according to other preferences), but does the community have any experience with baking savory cheesecakes? How do they turn out? What are pitfalls to watch out for? Should I only make a small one, because people won't want a big, honking piece of cheesecake the way they do for sweet cheesecakes? Help!
