Some very Swedish baking

Hi everyone! Here in Sweden I've celebrated both Swedish National Day and the princess' wedding this week. I took advantage of both occasions to try my hand at actually decorating something for a change. They weren't exactly perfect but I'm pretty happy with them nonetheless :)

I love the colours of the Swedish flag! Really pretty pinwheels!

I wish someone would make punschrullar...

I love punschrullar, soooo tasty but I've never tried to make them. It'll have to be my next experiment :)

Your pinwheel cookies look great for your first try! I haven't gotten brave enough to try them myself.

Thank you! They're really fun, you should try them. I'm surprised mine looked like this in the end since it was a really sticky process. I changed the instructions a bit and layered the two doughs on top of each other and then rolled them BEFORE I refrigerated them.

Your first attempt at pinwheels is better than my tenth. Nice job!

I'm usually super sloppy haha but I meticulously cut out 1-inch wide paper strips :P
