Sonic the Hedgehog Cake
I made a Sonic birthday cake for my partner's younger brother(who is 5!). This is my 1st attempt at sugar paste and I'm quite pleased with the results :) I know it has a lot of technical issues and it looks amateur, but I'm still pleased. AND my partner who has never ever baked or touched sugar paste even once in his life not only helped me, he was more excited than me! He did quite a lot actually. I think someone has a hidden talent!
The cake itself is a vanilla sponge that I coloured blue(for sonic) and filled it with home made strawberry jam & vanilla buttercream.
