We all know that we should be celebrating our moms all year long--and we do--but this Sunday is a special day, and you're looking for a way to do something extra for her. Why not show you care by baking some delectable lemon coconut squares and raspberry thumbprint cookies? I did!

Notes: These bars and thumbprint cookies make beautiful presents, especially when paired together--the contrast in colors and neat packaging can really make it look like you put in a lot more time and effort than you really did! I like my lemon bars sweeter so I generally put in the full amount of sugar and minimum amount of tartness, but the recipe is easy to play around with to suit your tastes. If anyone decides to make these for Sunday, I'd love to hear how it goes!
