THANK YOU so much for your votes in Project Food Blog! Willow Bird Baking is one of only 100 blogs to make it to round 4! To say I'm thrilled is an understatement

Tempting...very tempting. There's a French bakery here that makes lovely chocolate croissants except that they're stingy with the chocolate batons. I might have to finally try this...
I tell ya, I have trouble getting enough chocolate in there myself! I finally realized it's because pre-proofing, they're so much smaller than they will be after baking. MUST figure out how to stuff them more :)
I haven't had the courage (or the time or kitchen space, frankly, not with post-divorce move) but I have SO enjoyed reading the posts about the croissants and thrilling to others' successes with it. This is a *wonderful) tutorial; I am adding it to my memories.
Truth be told, yours is one of my two absolute favorite food blogs. You and Pioneer Woman, who has the life I wanted to have. Gods, that sounds pathetic. I'm really not that sad at all. *snort*
Aww, thank you SO much!! What a compliment :) Hope you get to try these sometime -- I know kitchen space can be a huge issue when you're rolling things out and such.
I think we all fantasize about having at least SOME facets of Ree Drummond's life . . . ;)
But someday I want to get back into a place with enough kitchen that I can once more cook and bake as I love to do. In the meantime though, I'm getting by pretty durned well. I do, however, wish I could find my other box of missing kitchen stuff; I only have one saucepan!
