I've never tried it, but if I was in your position I would try an almond biscotti recipe and sub the brown sugar in for the white sugar in a 1:1 ratio.

Hmm... maybe. I usually wouldn't mind experimenting, but I'm a little cautious considering my low stock of backing supplies at the moment. (Not to mention that I want to bake something I'm sure won't fail this time, since my horrible macarons disappointed my bf last time :/.)
