First time poster :)......
This month was one of my best friends at universities birthday, and I decided to make it special. She had already seen I had made my boyfriend a birthday cake for his birthday last month, so she hinted what she wanted me to make, not actually thinking I would make it.
and here it is! I kind of wish I also bought some of the regular size party rings to photograph in comparison, but non the less she was extremely grateful and shocked when I walked into our local pub with it to give to her.

----------
Ingredients
400g Plain Flour
100g Caster Sugar
180g Margarine
3 Egg Yolks
Lots of Icing Sugar
Food colouring (your choice)
Step 1.
Mix the caster sugar and margarine until creamy looking. Then fold in the flour gradually and mix in the egg yolks.
Step 2.
Flour your working surface and kneed your dough. Roll out and using a round object cut a large circle and then a smaller circle in the middle.
Step 3.
If you want a more authentic looking party ring, you can mark out the underneath of the ring as well ( just look at a regular party ring to see what I mean)
Step 4.
You then want to cook for 35 minutes on gas mark 4 (350 F)
Step 5.
You then want to mix the icing and create two batches each a different colour. Once baked, just have a alot of fun putting it on the biscuit! It also helps if you put it in the fridge for a while after.
