Okay, here goes: Kenshin/Kaoru 1) Lord, Freshman year of high school, I think? So that'd be 2003/2004. They're one of my first OTPs 2)oooh, Kenshin's stupid martyr complex, and the fact that he's probably got PTSD to the max. Why yes I do like to analyse my favourite character's psyches 3) They're adorable! It's so cute in the manga how they seem to be attuned to one another 4) Probably that it took so long for them to realise each other's importance. I mean, they're canon, so it did happen, but good lord it took forever 5) Kenshin's BSOD or Kaoru being totally weak-willed after Kenshin leaves for Kyoto. 6) Well, Kenshin *had* Tomoe, and they were cute together. And for Kaoru, not gonna lie, I kinda ship her with Enishi a little bit, in an AU headcanon I have. 7) Well they got married and have a kid, so I guess for their kid to not go batshit insane like is implied by the author?
Tamaki/Haruhi: 1) Uhm, 2007ish, I believe. 2) Again, biggest challenge is that they can't bloody admit their feelings. And the whole Haruhi disguises herself as a boy thing... 3) I like the character dynamics, with Haruhi generally being the level-headed one and Tamaki as a total space cadet 4) HUUUUGE failure to communicate on both sides of their relationship. 5) I really can't think of any, except maybe the time Haruhi goes out with Hikaru? That was just awkward. 6) I don't really ship Tamaki with anyone else--Kyouya I guess. And I also might maybe ship Haruhi/Mori a little bit. 7) That they'll open up more to one another and actually start a relationship.
...Not a big shipper in FMA. I'll get back to you on that one
HRE/Chibitalia: 1) This is recent. 2009. 2) GERMANY DOESNT REMEMBER THAT HE LOVES POOR ITALY!!! 3) Again with the sheer adorable. I kinda have a thing for toyships, just because they're so darn cute! 4) Oh dear--their parting of ways and the horrible, horrible hints that Germany is HRE all grown up with no memories of his long-lost love. 5) None really, I kinda like the storyline for what it is 6) This is another one where I don't really ship a lot of different characters. Maybe HRE/Hungary and Chibitalia/pasta? 7) They will be reunited someday! They will!
9th Doctor/Rose (MY FAVOURITE DOCTOR WHO SHIP) 1) 2009. I know, I know, I'm late to the Doctor Who fandom 2)...the fact that 9th doctor regenerated into 10th? 3) There's just a sweetness and innocence to that relationship. And the Doctor is just so completely aware of Rose, it's fascinating to watch 4) -SOB- 9th doctor is no more! Oh his heroic sacrifice can STILL make me cry 5) The whole Sliveen on downing street thing. It was cute because it finally confirmed that the Doctor loved Rose, but really? Sliveen? They're stupid. 6) I guess I can happily ship Rose with 10, even if she was better with 9. Can't really ship 9 with anyone else though. -sob- 7) All the adventures they had we never got to see. I bet those were happy.
Booth/Bones 1) 2010. My most recent ship. They are so effing cute 2) Bones has SERIOUS issues with opening up in relationships. I think Booth would be willing to wait for her though. 3) As seems to be my thing as it were, it's the dynamics between the two of them--the snark, the genuine care and concern, and their ability to really see who they are. 4) They're partners. I just... I can't see them being together and working together. I worry that would hurt the dynamic too much. I mean, look what happened to Hodgens and Angela. 5) That stupid brain tumor and Booth's awkward, awkward coma-induced dream (which was still made of win, but OMG a little warning would have been nice) 6) I *can't* ship them with anyone else! They're too perfect for one another! Sweets needs to get them together liek woah. 'Cause Sweets totally ships them, too, you know it. 7) They will be snarkily together for the rest of their days, and have hyperintelligent snarky children. BWAHAHAHA
