Christmas is a time for sparkly stuff
Like tinsel and lights and trees
Everyone seems really into it
Even though we're Japanese

(So we aren't supposed to celebrate it
But we like festivals so it's okay
And it's also an excuse for presents
Which makes me say oh yay!)

Christmas is a time for peace on earth
And snow if you're in luck
You're supposed to eat turkey for dinner
But I guess you could just have duck.

Christmas is a time for family
You shouldn't spend it alone
But if you really have to
I guess you could just phone home.

Christmas is a time for CHRISTMAS BREAD
Although I haven't decided what it will be
Maybe I'll make it with yummy spices
Or shape it like a tree.

Christmas is a time for forgiveness
And making things how they should be
It's been too long, it still feels wrong
So let's be friends again, Kawachi.

Christmas is supposedly the day Jesus was born,
And lotsa stuff happened, 'cause Mary's a whore
But I was born the day before,
December 24.

I heard somewhere that Jesus wasn't born on the 25th,
Which is lame why bother celebrating
If it's not his real birthday anyway -
What's wrong with waiting?

It's extra lame because it overlaps with my birthday
And that's selfish, I know, but I can't help it -
Instead of 'Happy Birthday' I hear "Jingle Bells'
When I was a kid I'd throw a fit.

So what I really want for Christmas is actually a lot -
No one lumping Christmas and my birthday together,
Momo-senpai home, a new racket, a party,
And maybe something in leather ;)

I want someone to invent a recipe

Crap I think I need to pee Because that would make me happy

I may not be the world's greatest poet, but it's fun to do every now and then.

A lot of people would expect
That what I'm going to do
Is say that all I want for Christmas
Is for you all to get a clue.

In retrospect I do not blame them.
My clue thwapping is quite renowned.
But in spite of my support for the truth
Wanting only that would make me frown.

I spread the truth like butter on bread
but there's more to me than that.
I enjoy some scale from time to time.
