Bliss
Returned to Oz.
Best Christmas in easily five or so years. A big round of appluse to both Bill and Asa for being such kick ass friends and gracious hosts. I hope to keep up the trends of visits south. They have the best toys and I was so engrossed with Monster Island and WoW, I totally didn't get to rock out.
Taking the train on Christmas night was amazing. I had a car virtually to myself. Very relaxing and fun to spread all my shit out and have quiet. I'll have to do that again.
I was picked up by a coworker, who took me to her house to introduce her to her children. I'm constantly reminded of all the rad people in my life, personal and work. I hope to have a few beers with this lady because she's super fun at work and I can only imagine even cooler outside of work.
Drank a couple of beers and played puzzle fighter on the 360. My Xbox Live name is anygirl - add me and puzzle battle for me. Unfortunately, this is the only game I have besides the bundled games. I'll be looking for Rock Band (without all the instruments) and a guitar controller over the next month.
Woke up super tired and a bad tummy ache. I called into work and spent most of the day in bed. My friend's parents were in town, so when they were done doing family things, I was feeling better and got to hang out with her family and puppy. I had a great time.
Right now I am living the dream. Lying in bed, surfing the internet and lazing in the warmth. I set up the wireless all by myself this time, which was easier than I thought. Bliss.
I'm a little sad at having to return to work. Hopefully I can go to bed soon and not be super cranky. We'll see the effects of five days off in a row, which was totally wizard:)
