A friend of mine just died today. It's sad, people die everyday of course, but never has anyone I known personally died. We just take everyone for granted. God, Jordan Carver was an awesome guy and I'm not just saying that because he's dead now but because he really was. I knew him from elementary school and he came to my birthday party in third grade. We lost touch after elementary school and I didn't see him again until high school and I could have sworn that he had forgotten me but he saw me and said "Hayleigh!" and gave me a hug. God, he was such a fucking great kid. He was just so nice, so sweet and everything. I can't believe he's gone.
