Yeah so I've been rather bad and neglected my LJ and F-list for a while... Sorry! xD; I was just being... lazy. Yeah. xD;
Anyway wow, it's already been a week since I went to that anime convention. I haven't posted anything about it, have I?
For starts, it was okay D:, not as good as last year for sure. I kinda spend most my time in the Dealer's Room, loitering around a certain booth that a 'certain' individual was working at xD;. My friends kept ditching me there too >_>;... I only didn't hang around there so much on the second day because I was wearing these horrible high heel boots that killed my feet (SO not used to heels). I also only left there when there were certain panels I wanted to see xD.
Cosplay wise? It was decent. Maybe about 5% of the people there had KICK ASS cosplays. I'd also say about 65% of the people cosplayed this year (where last year it was like 80%) so that was kinda sad... most of them were half assed, or people just in Japanese school girl like skirts (haha, like me xD;). I'd say the most kick ass costume there was these people who dressed up as Final Fantasy XII moogles XD. Other than that, D: nothing really cool. They had this concert by some asian band inspired by J-Rock called "Spider's Kiss" play, but the sound system was so terrible this year all I could hear was the drum. So the Video Dance they had the second day wasn't all that impressive xD; (besides, everyone would just stand around and watch the music videos instead of dancing most of the time... like me). Man, the one thing I HATE about that dance, they pick some CRAPPY ASS music to play. ):< They didn't even have any Gackt! Because you know, Vanilla and Mizerable are like... WHEE xD and Gackt's 'dancing' is contagious (yeah, 'dancing' because that's just one of the top things everyone loves him for ♥. His dancing. xD It's so... wtf.)
:D Anyway, what did I buy because I actually had money? I was kinda sad because the two things I really wanted, they didn't have at any booth in the dealer's room... which was the TOTA: Tear Grants PVC statue and the TOTA One coin figurines. B| Actually, they lacked like LOTS of 'Tales of' merchandise, but it's like, when I asked everyone if they had any they were like "D: Oh. no we don't. Sold out like at Anime North. That stuff sure is popular, why?". ANIME NORTH? ANIME NORTH WAS IN MAY. THEY COULDN'T ORDER MORE FOR NOVEMBER? WTF. But yeah. What I bought 8D!
THE CUTEST CLOUD PLUSHIE EVER. I wasn't planning to spend my money on anything FF, cause like, I already got a bunch of FF stuff xD I wanted to get something different... but this, I COULD NOT RESIST. HE'S EVEN HOLDING A LITTLE AERIS DOLL x3 KYAAA.
Lamento figurine of the character Konoe, ISN'T HE PRETTY? Lamento is a BL game 8D made by the same people who made Togainu no Chi. KITTY BOYS HURRRRR *MANDY'S WEAKNESS*. He was the cutest xD And I think he's uke, cause the other ones were all manly. MMM UKES. And he was the only Konoe there xD. And I've been wanting him forever (he now stands by my Shiki figurine xD, KYA!). DB He came with a drama CD, but I haven't had the chance to listen to it yet...
DOMO-KUN SHIRT. WUT. I only bought it to make my cousin's jealous. xD One of em wants Domo-kun shirts. Bwaha. I'm mean xD;
I also bought 3 mangas, Kingdom Hearts II Vol.1, Black Knight Vol.3 (BL) and Shinobu Kokoro (BL OMGPRONY). XD The deals on the manga there was pretty sweet, and I even got a bonus... 8D They were all at American price, but my special friend gave me his store discount on top of that xDD HORRAY!
Well... other then that, all is well. xD I re-read what I have of Neon Genesis Evangelion (And of NGE: Angelic Days) and went on a short Kaworu/Shinji spree. OMG, YUN KOUGA DID A KAWORU/SHINJI DOUJIN. I LITERALLY CRYING TEARS OF JOY. ILU YUN KOUGA, ILU.
And other than that... B| Had a crappy sleep kinda... I forgot that I can't have ANY sort of caffeine before I go to bed or it's REALLY hard to go to sleep. But I'm still really happy xD ♥♥♥ I had fun yesterday }8D FUFUFU. *HIMITSU*
