[OH LOOK ANOTHER POST AT NIGHT man Kaito really is a night owl, isn't he? This time he has an actual reason for waiting until the sun sets though, and those watching the network are treated to a spectacular view of Goldenrod's skyline at night. He's clearly filming from an elevated surface (most likely the rooftop of the Goldenrod Department store), and it isn't long before the camera swivels around and his cheerful expression (shadowed by the lack of lighting, of course) appears on the feed]
Everyone's been talking about some kind of festival lately, so I guess I should start adding to the planning, right~? There's one thing no festival is complete without, and I promise you'll agree with me. Watch--
[The camera moves toward the skyline again, and shortly after there's a loud 'BANG' coming from offscreen, followed by a flash of light. Seconds later there's another one, and this time the entire feed is filled with the glimmering purple and blue sparks of a firework show. It's only one, and the sparkles fade just as quickly as they ignited, leaving nothing but a trail of billowing smoke in the night air]
Fireworks! Can't have a festival without fireworks~ The department store here sells them, and it wouldn't be hard to--
[He's cut off mid sentence by a small crashing noise from off screen, and the feed swivels to show Biz the Aipom standing near a paper casing with a lit firework loaded inside. A casing that has been knocked onto the ground and is now aimed at Kaito.
Obviously, flailing goes here]
Oi oi oi OI you stupid monkey! I told you to only set off one--!
[The video cuts off, but the audio remains. There's the sound of the firework going off, and then-- silence.
DON'T WORRY HE'S OKAY if a bit singed and burnt. Those who are in Goldenrod and can find their way up to the top of the department store are free to find him in a state of disarray, cursing out his Aipom who is angrily arguing with him in Pokespeech]
