[There is a phantom thief on the network.
One that is trying his best to hide his identity, it seems, particularly with the way he's pulled the brim of that white top hat over his expression. It's dark out too, the only available light being the flickering flames of a nearby campfire off screen. Due to the poor lighting, it's difficult to discern what else he's wearing other than the hat, but those who pay attention might be able to pick out the red jacket of a ranger uniform (something Kaito has been sure to keep hidden from any and everyone he knows).
He's even turned on the radio to drown out the background music, so no one can discern which route he's currently traveling on. This is clearly a thief who doesn't want to be found]
I suppose it's customary to introduce oneself when one is surrounded by new people.
[There's absolutely nothing in the tone or inflection of his voice that sounds like the playful magician some of you might have spoken to already. He tilts his head up juuuuust a bit, but not enough to reveal anything he doesn't want revealed]
