When the chibi detective arrived on the scene, he would find Kaito holding his (now closed) umbrella in the air, poised to whack a nearby Magikarp back into the bond. Biz the Aipom was already doing his part, whacking the flopping fish into the water with his third hand.
Kaito stops mid swing and blinks over at Conan. His mind registers two things: 1) Oh shit--, and 2) He's still here?!
He lowers the umbrella to his side and clears his throat, offering Conan a very shaky grin (though he's trying his hardest to reconstruct his poker face)]
[ As of the moment, Conan has yet to register the rain soaking through his clothes, too busy trying to figure out what's going on here. Kaito looks fine(?), though the act Conan caught him in is rather unusual. For the moment he sets aside his suspicions of Kaito and Kid, since the other teen looks like the victim in this situation.
But is he? Those Magikarp are the ones being smacked down. Are they attacking him? Magikarp are generally harmless though. ]

Wow! That was almost perfectly choreographed! I bet if you had a bunch of ninjas hiding in a pond and they sprang out to attack, they wouldn't have jumped as beautifully!
