[051--Video/Action for roommates or whoever else wants to watch the movie]
[Tonight, since the weather makes it pretty much impossible to go outside, Kaito and his Pokemon are holed up in their Ecruteak Inn room. The angle of the video comes from the desk, and a pair of brown, floppy ears framing the picture reveals the cameraman's identity as a Buneary. After positioning the video, the little rabbit Pokemon hops off of the desk and onto the bed, where Kaito and the rest of his team sit.
The magician in question hasn't seemed to notice that his Buneary has started the video, and he's leaning back on his bed with a bowl of cheese curls on his lap. The lights are off, and the only source of illumination in the room is the flickering television. Komi the Pidgeotto, Biz the Aipom and Kei the Umbreon are all seated on his left, watching the TV with various stages of interest (Komi seems more set on preening her wings than watching). Ko the Pikachu is curled up underneath his right arm, looking stiff and annoyed while Jo the Wooper bounces softly on the mattress next to her. And when March the Buneary hops off of the desk, onto the bed and tries to cuddle up next to Ko, the yellow mouse bristles and sets off a few sparks in an attempt to defend herself, which catches Kaito's attention]
Oi oi, Ko, save your electricity for when the movie's over-- ow! [And of course, Kaito's attempts to calm her down just earn him another mild shock of his own] Geez--! I thought you'd at least get somewhat nicer after you evolved...
[Ko lets out a grump before returning to her curled up position, and March settles for planting himself on Kaito's knees. There's peace once again as the movie continues, but hey, this is Kaito's team... things are never peaceful for long.
Such as when Biz reaches out with his third hand to tug the cheese curls bowl off of Kaito's lap just as Ko lifts her paws to do the same thing. Their gazes meet from across the bed...
... and the most epic game of tug-o-war beings. Ko pulls on the bowl hard just as Biz does the same, and the cheese curls go flying. Kaito lets out a yelp just as the sudden movement startles Jo, who bounces right off of the bed and onto the floor. March lets out a cry and leaps up to help Ko pull, while Kei perks his ears, leaps to his feet, and takes a hold of the scruff of Biz's neck with his mouth to help him pull. Komi flaps her wings and coos loudly and authoritatively in an attempt to stop the chaos]
Guys!
[Kaito's cry goes unheard as Biz suddenly lets go of the (now empty) cheese curls bowl, sending Ko and March tumbling off of the bed (Ko is letting out sparks the entire way down, too)
And for once, as Kei and Biz snicker at their victory (and Komi whacks them both on the head with her wing) Kaito looks amused instead of annoyed]
... there were enough cheese curls for all of you, y'know.
