It doesn't quite follow popular phoenix legend, but they are a symbol of rebirth...

If it's tied to legends from Japan? I've noticed similarities, too.

[scratching the back of his head thoughtfully again] I dunno if there's anymore to the legend then what I've found, but it couldn't hurt to look into it some more.

There are a lot of similarities to legends, I've noticed. And many things seem to be based off of things from home.

RPGs are pretty fun, but I like third-person shooters the best!
