[This time, the background of the video is the Ecruteak City gym, with Kaito flicking a newly won Fog Badge up into the air and catching it all in one smooth motion, Aipom on his shoulder and Arbok slithering happily behind him. Behind him stands an exhausted looking Morty who is currently patting his defeated Gengar on the head ( Read more... )

Brought back to life ... some of us outsiders were dead before coming here. Perhaps that bird revives more than other pokémon.

[Thinking out loud for a bit there.]

I don't know much about these legends. Care to enlighten me?

[a thoughtful expression washes over his features] Ho-oh... you think that bird is somehow connected to us being brought here?

[he nods]

Legend in Ecruteak says that 150 years ago, three Pokemon died in a fire that burned down one of two towers in the city. Ho-oh, the legendary Pokemon who used to live at the top of the Bell Tower, brought them back to life before they disappeared.

Pretty interesting, huh?

I'm not sure. I don't feel like anything from this world is responsible for us being in it, but there's no saying that the possible outside source that is pulling the strings couldn't seek help from what is already here.

[And silence as he listens to this, interested.]

Yes. That is very interesting.

If we're still looking for a way home, then it's something we should investigate.

I wonder what other legends are out there?

I'd like to think we never stopped looking. Nor investigating.

Many, most likely. It would be beneficial to learn them.

I haven't.

Exactly. Maybe one of them will help us get home.

Just over two months. What about you?

... seven. [a nonchalant shrug] I haven't stopped looking for a way home since I got here.

That would make you one of the first, wouldn't it?

[He'd been told about a month that it seemed the first outsiders had been there for half a year.]

[a few blinks; he had never thought about that before] Not the very first. Some people have been here longer than I have.

I was told that roughly six months appeared to be the longest people had been here - and that was a month ago.

[He's not the shrugging type, but that action is instead reflected in the tone of his voice.]

Kay and Johan were here a month before I arrived, so that's eight.

I don't know anyone whose been here longer.
