Kei and Biz are soundly asleep in his lap, and once Kaito is done investigating his injury, he sighs and lowers his hand to scratch the Umbreon behind his ears]
Has anyone seen a girl wandering around Violet City? She's a little shorter than me, has bushy brown hair... [a pause, before he attempts to add in with flat humor] Kinda looks like a boy when you first see her, too. No curves at all. And she's really violent.
[another pensive pause, and his gaze flickers down to the wounds on his wrist again]
... It kinda felt like a dream, but-- [he shakes his head]
If you see her, her name's Aoko. Tell her I'm looking for her.
