HAPPY BIRTHDAY YABU
True that I still can't call you by your given name, and I always end up saying Yabu and Yabu and Yabu no matter how I try. XD You're one of the most talented boys in this generation, and you're also hardworking and professional. I've seen you grow from that skinny boy singing Yuuki 100% who looked like he can almost fly whenever he dances. Not long after, you showed signs of maturity, you grew taller than Shoon...but still, I can see that 12 year-old little boy in your eyes every time you smile.
It's been almost three years since I became a fan of Ya-Ya-yah. The first whom I noticed among them was Taiyo, and then, Yabu. I was wondering, "Who's that super skinny boy? And he's got showmanship. There's this wonderful sparkle in his eyes when he sings..." It was easy for me to check out Ya-Ya-yah because it's not in Kanji or hiragana or in katakana, and when I found out who they were, I was surprised to know he was just about my age. I used to think he was so much younger!
When I saw Yabu's piercing on his left ear, I was shocked. I thought it has something to do with Ya-Ya-yah debuting soon (Yeah, that was last year... :( ) And then, there came Shoon and Taiyo's time to take over the stage, and I felt that maybe, Yabu and Hikaru supported them backstage. Nobody knew the management's plan then. After those performances, I saw the burning hope they had to debut as Ya-Ya-yah. Unfortunately, they were broken apart to make way for HSJ. Although Yabu deserved an explosive debut, I can't even think if he wanted it that way or not.
(Kleenex, anyone?) Since then, I boycotted ShoKura, if there's no Taiyo, definitely, I wouldn't have anything to watch. But how can I not watch Yabu? Sometimes, I do, but whenever HSJ appears, I just don't mind the others. (If there's an HSJ fan reading this, I hope I didn't irk you 'cause it wasn't really my intention to do so.) I noticed that the "sparkle" was slowly disappearing, and he became more and more "square" with his work. He still smiles, but not in the same way he used to when he was in Ya-Ya-yah.
Now that he's 18 (like me), there's a bigger responsibility in his hands. As HSJ's big brother, he has "siblings" to look after to. (But y'know what, I can't even imagine him acting like the eldest one. He's too young-looking for that role, and he's somewhat detached sometimes. He and Hikaru...it seems to me that they have their own world, a world away from the other 8 boys they're with.)But he's always hardworking, and we all love him for that.
Wishes? Of course, a brighter career, good health, and one not-so-secret wish that I know most Ya-Ya-yah fans do also wish for.
