I HAZ JOB INTERVIEW. Post complete with silliness. 8D

Sup?

So... I got a job interview at PhoneBase on Thursday at 10am. It's basically a market research company and I applied to be an interviewer... meaning I'd be one of those annoying people that call out of the blue trying to survey you about random crap lol.

Fortunately, if I'm right, it'll mostly be a list of people that have signed up for that kind of thing. So maybe I won't have ninety percent of the people I call hang up on me lol.

Assuming I get the job. Which, I should. I have AMAZING customer service skills. I get nothing but compliments at McDouchebag's unless it's one of those insanely busy days when I'm on front counter running for myself. My only flaw is I'm not as fast as I "should" be... but, fuck, NO ONE is that fast. Anyway. I've gotten nothing but compliments about my customer service... apparently, I sound friendly and peppy and more than willing to interact with people and they like that.

The only way I can't see myself getting the job is because of the scheduling problem. I'm obviously not going to change my availability at McDonald's until I know if I have it or not... and if I get it, I'll work mornings at McDonald's and afternoons at PhoneBase. Simple. But I'm SUPPOSED to give 3 weeks' notice when it comes to changing my availability... I hope if I'm polite enough and present it well enough that Denice won't give me too much shit. Cause I wouldn't be able to start at PhoneBase until the schedule's set to go... which, they might not want to hire me if I can't start right away.

Confusing, no?

But at PhoneBase, pay is based on performance. There's a point system and if you get below 100 points of a pay period, you're paid at minimum wage. Anything above 100 points is adjusted accordingly. Awesome, yes? It's just like commission, except you get paid no matter how well you perform. Though... I assume if you suck, they'll let you go... but I won't suck (at least not in a bad way lol... kidding).

I plan on being the best interviewer out there, yo.
I think working at McDonald's this time around has done wonders for my confidence... or maybe it's the medication... granted, we're still having issues with hallucinations, but we're dealing with it in due course.

OH. And PhoneBase is under a mile away from McDonald's, so I could totally walk if I give myself about an hour between when one shift ends and another starts. How awesome is that!

Eileen had jury duty today so we both ended up taking the day off... though... I could've still worked, but she's EXHAUSTED and we took care of it yesterday. It'd look bad to call and be all "ohai, guess what, I can come in today!"

So I do believe I will go and put dishes in the dishwasher and go back to playing Sims 2. OH DUDE. I tried for a baby with my awesomelyamazing gay dude couple and didn't know if it worked or not, so I tried again. They both ended up getting pregnant lol. Kristopher and James Smith gave birth to Kaine and and Jayne Smith. Too adorable. And they're amazing parents... and Kristopher's brother helps out a lot. Amazing uncle, he is. 8D
