I'm trying insanely hard to get back into the swing here... I just keep deleting everything I put down because 75% of it is negative. The only real positive thing to post about these days is vandigo and let's face it... no one wants to hear about her constantly.

Gackt - Ah, the man that got me into jrock to begin with. I have to admit, I'm not NEARLY as obsessed with the King of Plastic and Gay as I was, let's say, two years ago... Actually, I don't think I'm obsessed at all, anymore. Don't get me wrong, I still love the man's music, but... I've kinda grown into myself and realized that, hey, it's better to have variety in your iTunes library. And I just barely downloaded a few of his albums the other day after a long time of not having anything. Was feeling nostalgic.
Jrock - In a way, this was actually my gateway to where I am now, I suppose. If I wouldn't have gotten into jrock, I probably never would've talked to revanlady, who introduced me to vandigo over MSN. And I probably would never have met enyo_enamor on the JRR forums and have him become one of my closest friends. So basically, a lot of good things definitely came from that obsession. I still listen to it... it might not seem like it these days... but I do.
Final Fantasy - Let me guess, Jessie, you got this because of my layout? Well, yeah, I have a soft spot for a few of the Final Fantasy games. I remember when my brother and I first played the FFX demo from the PlayStation Magazine or whatever the hell it was at the time... We might've just gotten it free with a purchase at GameStop, but whatever. Either way, my brother and I played it a LOT. And then after we moved to Idaho, Bryan finally sent it and FFX-2 to me... and my brother would sit and watch me play for hours. So that one specifically has a lot of good memories with my baby brother. FFIX I never beat because the first disc kept freezing and pissing me off. And I don't remember if I got to play the others or not. I know I've beaten Mystic Quest and played Tactics. And when I tried to play VIII, it wouldn't work in my PS2.
Sonata Arctica - Ha, I figured everyone would know the story behind this one by now. Well, when vandigo was sending me Malice Mizer and X Japan songs back in, like, 2007, she also sent me some of Sonata Arctica's songs (most were unlabeled at that point because she got them elsewhere) because she asked if I wanted to hear an "awesome" metal band. HOMG, I fell in love right then. As of right this second, I have downloaded practically everything they've ever released (I'm sure I'm missing a few things) and I listen to them at least once every day. I mean... they're one of my favorite bands of all time at this point.
Coconut (You had to see that one coming... XD) - Actually, I didn't. But let's see.... how can I BS my way out of this one? Okay, maybe I can't. Coconut wasn't originally meant to be a name for me. My friend Sock, who I no longer talk to, said I needed a random name and the first thing I came up with was Coconut. Sock, however, refused to call me Coconut... instead, she called me Nut. After I stopped talking to Sock back in middle or high school, nobody called me by Coconut. I used bakacoconut as my username for EVERYTHING, but when people shortened it, they always shortened it to Baka. So, for a long time, no one consistently called me Coconut until I started talking to vandigo... and then after she started calling me Coconut constantly, it seemed like everyone else online did too. And now... I'm pretty much Coconut at this point. It's not just an alias anymore: it's me.
