Okay, so if anyone didn't know . . . Coconut has a thing for movies. Yes, I like horror and action and OMFG LORD OF THE RINGS AND STAR WARS <3
But now, I will make a confession to all of you.
I like cheesy and cliche romance movies.
Earlier, I watched a Japanese one called Ai no Kotodama.
From imdb: Ootani and Tachibana have been inseparable since high school. Now that they're in college, they live together, they're happy and everything seems prefect. But their little world is disrupted when they meet an old high school friend, Yuki, who seems to have a crush on Tachibana, making Ootani feel jealous and insecure. Will Tachibana really choose him over a pretty girl?
IT'S SO ADORABLE OMFG. I randomly came across it over on
jdramas and was all "ohay, we need cheesy boy love romance movies today," so I downloaded that and a couple others that I've watched all days. (
If you're part of the community, the specific post I found it in is here.)
I mostly related to the character Sho, for some reason.
This guy:
He's not one of the main characters, obviously . . . but he said a lot of things I identified with. And then, in one part, he said something along the lines of "if love is pointless, isn't that what makes it good?" (I'm going off the subtitles, here, people. My Japanese is shit) Something just kind of . . . clicked when he said that. IDK. >.>
Okay, I should probably go do something more constructive than spam your friends page with my mindless bullshit. BUT THIS WAS A FUCKING GOOD MOVIE, OKAY??? It was just so fucking cute.
