Wow, winter break goes by quickly - I'm not even getting anything accomplished, and the days are flying by! Not that that's really a change of pace ^^; Maybe it's because I celebrated Christmas four or five times, with different groups of people. So - happy new year and holidays and all that.
I have been drawing a fair amount recently. I got some nice inking pens and I love the GIMP. I've also worked on my applications for study abroad to Ecuador.
To do list:
Finish Ecuador applications.
FAFSA.
DVD burner installation.
Firefox.
Tablet driver.
Rip xmas CDs.
Write infrared camera paper.
Learn Dvorak.
Code bot, both websites.
Plan for party.
Clean room to prepare for move/ yard sale.
Birthday shopping.
Taking it easy over the break has also including hanging out with a few of the coolest people I know. They're the kind of people who are just fun to be around: they're funny, stimulate good conversation, have similar interests but different viewpoints, and generally make life enjoyable.
Some of this hanging out also involved working out. Lifting weights, to be exact. I am, therefore, sore but content. My sleep schedule, however, has been very annoying. Even when it's moderately consistent, I feel a little dragged down, in need of a nap. Even when I *do* nap. Maybe it's the general dirth of physical activity.
I had a wonderful new year's eve - I went to the dance with nilbus, and we dressed up formally. He looks very handsome in his new suit and I just recieved a great formalwear female suit 'thing' to wear too. We were both a bit out of it because we were up early to hit the gym with the guys, but it was okay because we got to sit and talk a little, and we still managed to jump around for the techno version of "Auld Lang Syne" after the ball dropped. Best new year's eve since the last one ^_^
Dreams about playing pirates with little kids are fun! Nightmares about totally failing a big, important test because you can't even finish the first set of 400 questions aren't.
Finally, I would like to say that I am in love! I don't know what the future holds - no one does - but I know that I have been falling in love over again every day for more than 16 months. There rest is beyond words...
