YUSUKE ISEYA (SEMI) PIMP POST &hearts
Erh so this is called SEMI pimp post because there's really not much Yusuke Iseya out there in the internet world so it kinda lack stuff. maybe I should search harder, but really. putting that aside, I'll do my best to introduce you to my-favourite-actor-at-the-moment even with limited stuff! xD
Okay lets start with some biodatas first. Yusuke Iseya (伊勢谷友介) is currently 32 years old (starting today!) model, actor, screenwriter, and director. Pretty talented, of course. He was born in Tokyo, Japan and received master's degree of Fine Arts in Tokyo National University of Fina Arts and Music. He wrote and direct the movie Kakuto (I'M SO PROUD OF HIM, OMG) and it got the 2003 Rotterdam International Film Festival nomination, and good reviews. Two years earlier, he won 2001 Japanese Professional Movie Awards for Best New Actor in the movie Kinpatsu no Sougen.
If you feel like you've seen him somewhere before, try Honey and Clover the Movie. Or Casshern. You might remember him as the sexy voice Morita ;)

Moving on.
Yusuke starred in a few really, really weird movies. Like The Insects Unlisted in the Encyclopedia, for example. you can see puke burns and a monkey's hand that can bring the death to life again. things like that. Watch or Download. I RECOMMEND THIS. I'll do some capspams for this movie later on xD if you want them, haha.
Another weird movie he was in must be Arch Angels with Ueno Juri, lol. Just watch it and you'll see. It's like the Japanese version of Charlie's Angels.. kind of. Yusuke acted as a Prince here *DROOL* and was totally hot and handsome. Pretty much like this
BUT BUT BUT BUT! since maybe youre not a fan of him yet when youre reading this, then the first thing you should watch is

I watched Honey and Clover waaaaay before this movie, but this one made me fall head over heels with Yusuke xD ok not really. here, in this movie, EVERYONE speaks english. and they're all Japanese except Quentin Tarantino. I have the dvd but without proper english subs, so I dont really understand what they're talking about, except Yusuke's english &hearts (and Ando-san). IMAGINE THAT SEXY VOICE IN ENGLISH. in perfect english.
You just have to watch it. Even if it's only for Yusuke xD
He's the leader for the White Gang I suppose. very wild and sexy :o

Talking about movies, he was also in Yomigaeri, Gaichu (Harmful Insect) for only a few minutes in the end of the movie with Aoi Miyazaki.. even worse, a few seconds in Sidecar ni Inu (Yuko Takeuchi movie) but oh well those few seconds full of his sexy voice's worth it. He played with Ueno Juri again in Sea Without Exit.
Yusuke was with Eita and Miki Nakatani in Memories of Matsuko which I should watch as soon as I have time to! It sounds awesome, here, here, and here are the movie trailers. And this should be Yusuke's cuts from that movie, but I havent watch since I dont want spoilers xD
2008's movie Blindness trailer, and the review.
In Casshern, ah you have to watch that one too if you havent. I think he might look the hottest ever in this movie, God. beautiful. I also really want his movie The Passanger (WITH RYO KASE!!) but I dont think there's any english subs available on the net. the movie worth to mention, just look at the caps :

The other side of Yusuke you should know is hmm he models. For Japan's Loreal, Men's Nonno Magazine (duh the biggest picture above), Milan's Prada, Asahi Aqua Blue, etc. I think he was a model first before becoming an actor. there's this Izzue's 06 Fall/Winter Collection you should see, in the picspam section later xD
He did some CMs too, one of them is this one. ACOU something CM and haha it's pretty funny. Yusuke's shirtless is always welcome.

There's this interview of him with Kameishi Takamasa, talking about Kakuto, and you can read it here. I feel really lucky that I found this piece of interview, it's pretty rare. From Kameishi about Yusuke ;
He's very reliable on set. Before shooting we worked in a very small group, basically just the two of us plus Kore-eda as producer. But when shooting started, it of course became a much bigger group. But Iseya really showed great leadership. The atmosphere on set was really good, largely thanks to his personality. Even if he sometimes made an oversight due to his inexperience, the actors voluntarily wanted to help him solve it or make up for what he lacked. Especially Atsushi and Hassei, and also Terajima and Kagawa.

TK: We talk about many different things together, spirituality, politics, girls or just insignificant chatter. All those subjects are related to each other within our field of interest and we can't see them as separate things. Also, Yusuke's interests change all the time. Once he discovers an interest in spirituality, he will suddenly become a very spiritual person, which will have an influence on me. So we'll speak about this subject for hours or even all night until the morning. At the same time, we write screenplays together, so it naturally finds its way into the script. So the film becomes like a box of toys, with many things mixed inside. But I think that's the advantage of youth, we are responsibly irresponsible. That's one of Yusuke's good aspects too.

There was a rumour about him dating and marry Yoshina Kimura an actress also in Sukiyaki WD.
Actors Yusuke Iseya and Yoshino Kimura attend the Blindness photocall at the Palais des Festivals during the 61st International Cannes Film Festival on May 14, 2008 in Cannes, France. In mid-July, Kimura and Iseya flew to Canada for filming, and they are scheduled to return to Japan in October.
I honestly think they're pretty cute together xD The Asian-American movie Blindness sounds interesting, so look forward to it please! ;)
