(no subject)
Well, I'm all moved in and settled into our wee apartment - and loving it! Don't know why we didn't do it sooner. It's so nice just livig with one other person- easy to keep clean and tidy - very civilised! and takes me about 10 minutes to walk to work, go all good! Only thing is we are near the city mission, s have to be careful and avoid that side at night - the nearest dairy is right next to it, so it's worth the extra bit of a walk to go to another one if the need be, just to be safe - and seeing i always seem to attract the hobos - even if i don't make eye contact! like attracts like i guess ha! We've had to buy a few things for it, but not too much luckily. I bought the fold-out couch and 2 sets of drawers from the previous tenants for $50 so that was a saving, and sylvia's friends have given us a lot of kitchen stuff.
Also, went to Stereophonics concert on Monday - very very cool! So glad I went - even if it was on my lonesome. I felt a bit of a wally when i first got there as there weren't that many people, just waiting round, but as it filled up, it was sweet. Atlas opened for them - they are quite good actually.
I'm sure Kelly Jones gave me the eye across the room...*swoon*
I forgot to say the last time that I got a cyst thing squeezed out a few weeks ago! ew I know! I've had this - what i thought was a mole - on my jaw bone for AGES, but it's right up near my ear so can't really see it, and one weekend I notices it had a lump - so of course I paniced and though the worst case scenario, thinking it was a tumour or something! Made an appointment at the doctors (once i psyched myself up!), a girl from work went with me cos i'm a chicken! hehe, but when the dr saw it she said it looked like she could just squeeze it - so she did! and all this pus and gunk came out of it!!pretty yuck, but I was relieved!- it just kept on oozing out! Now it's good, but if it comes back it'd be best to get it cut out.. lovely!

So, that was my drama. Nothing else really. Work is good. my class are lovely. we went to Foodtown last Friday - I gave them a worksheet to do, things to find etc. they bought a few goodies, then we went to Sylvia's friend's cafe on Fort st for a coffee as we walked back to school, then it was hometime, so it was a very relaxing day!
Anyway, better get going - gotta get something for dinner, and lunches = i've spent too much money this week on food - need to make my lunch! Oh and Kelly's having a C-section today so I'll be an aunty again!! Haven't heard anything as yet, hoping it all goes well (rather her than me ! ouch!)
