Hits and misses abound.

Buta no kakuni is delish. The braising liquid is great if salty. The sad part is that it is tough as nails, maybe using a pressure cooker and er, not over boiling it would help. -__-;; entirely my fault since I really did leave it in a slow cooker and forgot about it for a grand total of 8 hours. How did I not burn down the house.

Was foiled by my own ineptitude of procuring gelatin or containers for jelly making, so that black tea jelly is going to have to wait.
