In general, most of the young patients that get admitted to my ward are usually because of road traffic accidents. In this case, her brother had been driving an MPV with the entire family for an outing in Johor Bahru, when a motorcyclist swerved into their lane. Her brother swerved frantically, and the girl who had been in the seat at the back was flung through the hatch window. Amazingly, she escaped with only whiplash and abrasions.
Orthopaedic specialist's first question? "Were you wearing a seatbelt?" Obviously, no. -_______-;
I actually do like my current stint -- I'm in the 'final' attachment where the hospital is the one who grades us on whether we're qualified to be registered nurses, not the school. On the other hand, there are still days when I feel it can be pretty overwhelming.
...Surely there is no relation to the sudden amount of survival manga I am reading. (All Fujisawa Yuki works currently: Metro Survive, Region, El El and Bio-Meat Nectar.)
Also in my spare time, I've been dabbling in a lot of online games. The China mmorpg however, wins them hands down with pithy quotes like:
(You meet enemy)
Blood Lion: The bloody lion rushes to you and kneels down. To your astonishment, it says, "Prayer is done. It's time for meal."
Wild Bull: "I didn't add melamine! Why you kill me?"
