I'm actually feeling human after working a full shift -- not great, but not utterly exhausted. I consider this a good sign.
I had two memorably good customers. The first was a woman wearing a bicycling shirt, and we got talking about triathlons. It turns out we'd both done the Danskin at Disney last year. The other was a guy who, when these little kids were trying to scrape up just a couple more dollars to buy their mom a book for Mother's Day, stepped up and paid the last three bucks. There was an obnoxious idiot, but the people who had to wait were very patient, and mocked him when he left, instead of taking it out on me. :)
Tomorrow I go back to school (I've been too exhausted to go in a while) for class, withdrawing from the one I missed too much of, and talking to my art teacher (whose class I've missed too much of) and the woman who runs the self-paced math thing.
