Randomness
Saw Super 8 with Jojo last night. I like JJ Abrams' production/direction style, so I was prepared to enjoy the movie, but it really exceeded my expectations. Lots of humor and raw emotion as well as spectacular special effects (the reason I don't bother with blockbuster movies like Transformers and whatnot is that they're so focused on the effects that they usually don't have that human element to them). And the child actors were surprisingly good. There was none of that woodenness or overacting that kids are prone to doing; they were just cute and endearing rather than annoying. Their little zombie movie was ADORABLE. xD
Jojo sort of has a boyfriend now. She's 19, and he's 27. It's a little weird to me, just because he's older than I am and she's my baby sister, but he seems like a very nice guy. I just wish he wouldn't spend so much time here at the house. Shouldn't he be taking her out or something? *antisocial* ^^;
I don't know what it is, but I can't seem to get enough sleep lately. I'm always tired, and even though I want to get up in the morning and get stuff done I just can't drag myself out of bed. Might be hormones (it is that time of the month), but I'm just so exhausted that it feels a little ridiculous. And then when I'm up I just don't do the things I'd planned to do... *sigh* I slept for a good 10 hours last night and I'm still all lethargic.
I just don't know, guys. Things are all jumbled in my head and I can't seem to figure out which way is up.
