i'm having serious doubts about this whole "graphic design" buisness. because that's what it is, BUISNESS. sticky, conniving, power-hungry buisness as everything else.
if i ever come up with some corporate identity, for god's sake shoot me.
i can't stop worrying. it's just as cold as say, science or politics. it doesn't have all that much to do with self-expression, if at all. damn it, i need to stop lying to myself. i'd be happy designing book covers, or magazines, or cd cases, even newspapers, but fucking walmart logos and cereal boxes?! hey kids, free movie toys if you buy seven more boxes. in bright yellow and red with grinning bees.
what about making pictures... can't i just make pictures all my life.
