I saw a couple more places yesterday.
The first hiked up the rent and I was confused because I was sure it was less.. So I broke out the I-phone and repeated the ad and then she started explaining that she upped it because of the neighbors and they're rent. lol she was trying to play me.. that's exactly what the I-phone is for.
The other was this Asian lady with an in-law unit...yeh I had to say Asian because I'm about to have a rant! She obviously didn't want my ilk aka Black to live there. She was so nice on the phone.....she asked why I wanted cupertino and I told her where I worked...she wet her pants in glee. I show up and (NOT LYING) literally takes a step back and became so in-different. Then when I asked her for an application...she said there were no applications to give off hand but she emails them. Bull shit.. I still havent got this email. What a bitch..
Anyway the reason why I brought up that she's Asian because she's not the first. A lot of Asians (the older ones usually) in the Bay Area can be so racist...I mean blatent. I feel like I'm living in the Crash Movie. That rant fizzled because I have to go. But more places to see.
