Thank you, thank you, thank you, to everyone who puts so very very very much work into the amazingness that is Baitcon!
I know I say this every year, but yet again I headed home from the mountain so full of joy, and feeling so connected to my community and somehow so much more connected to myself. It is the magic bubble of awesomeness, and I carried some of that awesomeness back from the magic bubble into my life. And one year I really will manage my goal of not sleeping at all so I can manage to have conversations with all the awesome people I see so rarely elsewhere and whom I am so delighted to see! (I might as well accept that that kind of is my goal...)
I loved looking out over the field full of joyous folks of all ages, and I especially loved seeing all the kids running everywhere and delighting in each other's company and the company of awesome adults. My whole family had such a wonderful time. Baitcon is the absolute highlight of my year, and I think it may now be for my children as well!
