A day in the life of....
the old saying really is true.....Wait for a bus long enough and two come along at once. I shall of course explain a bit more...
I was woken this morning by the phone. It was the phones4U manager calling me in for an interview today. So I went. It was OK. Don't have a clue whether i'll get it. And so I come home, have lunch and my mobile rings. Its my old boss from Argos offering me a part time job. great!! Or is it?
I've had a bit of a dilemna really because I need around 23 hours a week to pay bill, rent, food and still have abit of money to save. Argos offered me 17.5 hours, for six weeks with no guarantee that it'll extend beyond that. To put a long story short for you all though, I have accepted the argos job for now but will quit if I get a better offer. So I start work again on saturday!
The bad news is that, for now at least, I can't make it back for the get together. I know it was me that suggested it, but to be honest, I really didn't think there was any hope on the job front. However, if they dont take me on after the 6 weeks i'll be coming back then. Sorry guys!!
