Starting a new year
I attended a local party for New Year's Eve. I think it's the first time I haven't spent New Year's alone since I left San Francisco (and the parties hosted by Andrew & Paula). It's time to try new things.
Saturday I attended an educational event. There was nothing new I heard but I took a new friend, Dan, and we had a lively dinner conversation afterward.
Then I took him to a party. His first ever dungeon party. I volunteered to be pierced and he busted his piercing "cherry". My host put in most of the needles but Dan put in two.
Sunday we attended the local rope practice event., He asked me to bring cuffs and a few toys so not only did I get to play with rope, we had our first scene. I think it's the first time he ever played in a dungeon.
He's headed back out west in a week or so and it's unclear if I'll be seeing him again. But this was a nice start to the year.
