A Diary of Euphoria.

"A Diary of Euphoria"

If only I could see you through the smoke screen,

Feast my eyes upon the face that I’ve dreamed,

Place you the scenes that I’ve seen,

Maybe I could finally come clean,

Lest the night devour me.

There would be nothing to it,

Read right from the script on which I’ve spent a lifetime,

Hidden from desire you could have my heart,

Squeeze it dry and bring it back to life.

I can almost trace the features that astound me,

The traveling haze keeps you at a distance,

Still, I can imagine your breath laced with mine,

Sashaying arms bound me, my knees scrape the wall

And you’ve found me.

Your wandering fingers wave tingles through my insides,

Increasing the electricity pulsing my veins,

The impact of your lips confounds me,

You growl as you relish the flavor which could sustain you.

To at last covet your form feeds the hunger,

Renews the senses,

Preparing them to be taken for a ride,

I revere the fusion with each sigh,

As our vital forces collide.

My only hope was for the yearning to subside,

This transcendent encounter would nourish the thrive,

It would stifle my appetite and embody the prize,

The thirst for you satisfied.

Now merely to savor you until the sun begins its rise,

Is instantly morphed into forever and a day,

An immortal fervor captures my humanity,

It is not enough to venerate you,

Because it’s an eternity of experiencing you that I crave.
