(no subject)
So I've had a sore throat for 3 days now. Now I have a fever. And that's it. I'm waiting for the rest of the cold to come. It will probably make an appearance on graduation day. lovely. i'm trying to keep my chin up. but i'm just bummed. why graduation weekend? there is so much planned. so many parties to go to. I just hope that the fever will clear up. i can't handle being dizzy and achey for the 3-4 hours of graduation. and if i have to have a cold, fine. i can deal with a cold. i went to health services, afraid that it is strep (can't spell that). The nurse told me my culture was negative but if I get worse I shouuld come back on monday. I explained that i was graduating on monday. she just looked at me and was like, "ohhh, that's too bad." Then she tried to convince me to come in on the afternoon, after graduation. she is a lunatic. if she wants to give me antibiotics, then give them to me now, not when I'm full blown sick. she gave me the number to a clinic in west orange and told me to go there if my fever gets worse this weekend. thanx. like i have time for that. my family is coming on sunday. i have an award ceremony at 2pm and then a dinner at 5. Not to mention that I havne't felt like eating and the buffett is wicked expensive. So my parents are going to be paying for a $40 dinner that I can't eat. argh. this is why i have a journal. to vent. i need to keep my chin up and not complain. it is just a cold. it is just a cold. it is just a cold. positive. be positive.
i need to do a lot of indexing since it needs to be done by the 11th. ::sigh:: Not cool. But the next check will be big. Which is nice since I don't have a job yet. i went to get a milk shake and movies. hopefully that will keep me sane for tonight and tomorrow.
i know you guys are reading this... and i need some help. i have questions...
do you consider yourself a rational person? or know someone who is? What do you or your friend do that makes you a "rational" person? do they budget their money, do they not believe in the Bible? what? let me know. just leave the answer in the "comments" section. thanx.
