Suntans!
This weekend was awesome. Brittani and her boyfriend Brian came over on Friday night and stayed the night. We went to Brophy's, a bar across the street and had some drinks and came back and hit up the pool. Then, Saturday morning our new furniture came....which has made me so happy! It's such nice furniture, that we so desperately needed! It's so comfy and inviting. Brittani and Bryan decided to stay again last night too. We didn't do much of anything yesterday besides be lazy by the pool during the day and watch some movies. Then today, we got up and Travis and Brian went and watched a Devil Rays game at Tropicana Field here in St. Pete. They were gone most of the day. Brittani and I had some quality girls time. We ate some lunch and then went to Target and fooled around in there. We got some tubes for the pool and she got a new bathing suit. We sat out at the pool and bullshitted for awhile, caught some sun and drank some pina colads. It was simple but nice.
I'm watching the Pistons/Spurs Game 5 right now and I'm trying to figure out if this is the same Pistons I watched just the other night.....? But, I have confidence in them, although I may sound a little irritated at the moment. Because I LOVE the Pistons and I think it's pretty damn awesome that they made it to the finals again! GO PISTONS!
Olivia is coming over tomorrow, so that makes me pretty happy! Plus, I might get some word on the job I applied for on Thursday. I'm crossing my fingers that I get this job because I want and need it so bad! It's the perfect job, that I have always wanted! I have connections there, so the outlook is very good! It's at the same place where Brittani works and she goes through the applications with the guy who does the hiring and firing...so I guess life is all about who you know!
Today is Fathers Day...if only I had a good excuse to celebrate it, or wait...if only I had a dad to celebrate! My dad left my mom when she was pregnant, so I have never met him. Oh well, 23 years later and I must say that I am doing just fine without him! So, to those who have dads...be thankful and fortunate!
One last thing....I take back what I said about the Pistons just a few minutes ago, GO PISTONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
