ARGH. So I called Circuit City after work today to see if my laptop was ready to be picked up. No, turns out it needs a new hard drive, JUST AS I HAD ORIGINALLY SUSPECTED. Assholes. So anyway, they're at least being nice enough to send the computer to the factory, and if they don't end up putting the new operating system I bought into the puter with the new hard drive, they'll refund the money I spent on it, even if it's after 30 days. So, good there. Not so great that I have to wait even longer for my puter.
