Hope the season is one filled with cookies, light, and... IKEA?!
Next year I am asking Santa for a new IKEA close to the new workplace. I miss being able to drop by after work and I've completely given up on seeing the Holiday Collection this year.
I am still catching up on Christmas. Case in point, (well, other than this post...), my sister managed to get me out of the cave for some Boxing Week shopping just the other day, and all the discounted Christmas stuff I bought helped me finally finish decorating my windowsill that evening. But hey, as they say, the Twelve Days of Christmas and whatnot.
I did manage to do a crazy amount of baking before the holidays though (no, please, no more cookies...!), and I went over to the parents' on Christmas Day for dinner with their neighbour. This was the second year we had dinner with the neighbour's daughter instead of the neighbour herself. We seriously never thought this "tradition" would continue when she passed away 2 years ago, but her daughter then moved into the house and here we are...
Anyhow. Super-belated Seasons Greetings. Hope people in regions that celebrate Christmas are enjoying the holidays. Next: End of Year and New Years!
